Our Caregivers

At KARMA PRIVATE HOME CARE, we understand how much it means to have a caregiver that can actually provide the care you or your loved one needs, without you being worried over how they will be taken care of. We understand that it is very difficult to entrust your loved one in the hand of other people and believe they will treat them as same as you. But, we want to assure you and the family members that we really emphasize and spend great amount of time when hiring our caregivers. With our experience of working in different senior healthcare setting  and working with different nurses working in senior care setting, we have a very good knowledge of recognizing good potential caregiver candidate that is skillful and knowledgeable in what they do and at the same time caring and compassionate to the clients.

            Our caregivers are bonded and insured for your safety with up-to-date police background checks. Our caregivers are covered under worker compensation  (WSIB) that protect our clients from liability in the case of a caregivers work related injury during the job. They are also required to regularly update and re-certify CPR certification training and immunizations. We make sure that our new hired caregivers get proper orientation and provide 24/7 call support in case they need any assistance.

When we hire our caregivers, we pay very close attention to individual nature and their personalities. We want competent nurse that has the skills and the experiences but we are also looking for the kind and compassionate nature. In general we prioritize more on the individual general kind and compassionate nature and personality than their skills set and experiences, because we can train and educate our caregivers to gain experiences and skills but we cannot change their personality and value in care giving.
